Senior Full Stack Developer – OPEN

A.Y. Technologies, a fast growing startup in Vancouver and the leading mobile app platform for restaurants, is seeking motivated and high performing senior software developers to become part of its Software Development team. The Software Development team is responsible for building and maintaining the Craver Platform including web and mobile front-ends as well as the REST apis. We take pride in solving complicated problems using cutting edge technologies and in our ability to deliver quality software and innovative products to our clients.

As part of our team, you will participate in agile software development practices, defining forward thinking solutions, researching, developing and integrating concepts and products. You will be using state of the art technologies and frameworks such as React JS, React Native, Node JS, Java Dropwizard, Google Cloud Platform, etc.

RESPONSABILITIES

You will be involved in all aspects of software development such as:

• Software development, predominately using Java, Javascript, React.js and React Native
• Software architecture, design and requirements analysis
• Unit testing, automated testing and documentation
• Integration and deployment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in Javascript ES6, React and Redux
• Proficiency in systems, data and application architecture and design
• Experience in Java with deep understanding of REST API principles and scalability
• Experience in relational database systems and design
• Familiar with ORMs such as Hibernate
• Familiar with cloud deployment using AWS, GCP or Azure
• Well organized, capable of planning, scheduling and prioritizing work
• Aptitude for solving challenging problems in a team environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
